This chandelier depicts the wide oxbow bends of the Missouri River at the area where Lewis and Clark entered Montana. It is made of solid bronze, cut and polished Montana agate, and stained glass. It is over 60" long and 36" wide, and has over 700 individual pieces of custom formed solid bronze.

All of the members of the "Corps of Discovery" are depicted in three dimensional bronze images on the top, in miniature scale. This was done to convey the immensity of the country into which they were venturing. There is a sand-cast solid bronze boat on the top as well, patterned after the drawings by Captain Lewis in the Journals.

Roc Corbett has been designing original, unique lighting fixtures on a grand scale since 1974.
