| "Highlands Autumn" sconce Hand painted leaves on rawhide SOLD
| This sconce, named "Highlands Autumn" is made of hand crafted wrought iron and genuine sheepskin rawhide. There are a number of metal leaves on entwined vines on the back plate and support arm of the fixture, and the metal has a natural rust finish. The metal back is 6" in diameter.
Supported from the arm is a beautifully crafted sheepskin rawhide shade that is 10" in diameter on one end, 15" high and 6" diameter on the narrow end. The fixture may be mounted with the narrow end of the shade poiting down (as shown) or up, and is equally as effective either way. I have hand painted a number of falling autumn leaves on the shade, including oak, birch, maple, willow, elm and huckleberry.
This is the last of this series, since I would not be able to match the painting. If you desire more than one, I can make as many as you need and do all the painting at the same time.
